Natural gas odorant

 Sulfur free odorant is a colorless and transparent liquid with a strong pungent odor. It is a mixture composed of C4H6O2 (methyl acrylate), C5H8O2 (ethyl acrylate), and C7H10N2 (3-ethyl-2-methylpyrazine), with mass fractions of 37.4%, 60.0%, and 2.5%, respectively. The relative molecular weight of sulfur free odorant is 95.543, with a boiling point of 80 ℃ and a melting point of -80 ℃ under normal pressure. The self ignition temperature is 395 ℃, and the explosion limit is 1.6% to 23.0%. It is insoluble in water but soluble in ethanol and ether. Sulfur free odorants do not contain sulfur, and the combustion products do not pollute the environment.
